Our client, a fast-growing subsidiary of one of the leading reinsurers, was about to expand its IT infrastructure. Both a new core system and several other IT systems should be introduced.
There was a need for action, in particular in the area of the production of mass printed matter, but also in the creation of individual correspondence. The previous systems were based on MS Office or proprietary developments and were no longer able to cope with the increased requirements.
With the project, the customer pursued the goal of evaluating and selecting an efficient output management system that fits his requirements.
Inacta supported the customer in the systematic identification and consolidation of the technical requirements and the documentation of the technical conditions.
The actual evaluation was carried out by us, along with the customer, along a multi-stage process model developed by Inacta. A pre-selection of systems was gradually compressed. With the two best-placed providers, a proof-of-concept was again carried out at the customer.
The system thus determined was subsequently used by the customer. Inacta also supports the customer in the implementation project.
By using the practice-proven process model, the evaluation process was carried out with great efficiency and successfully completed.
The selection of the most suitable system, in terms of customer requirements, was already evident in the beginnings of the introductory project, which is currently still ongoing
